Summary/Objective
The Social Worker shares the vision of the Little Siters of the Poor which is to contribute to culture of the life of residents, staff and families at Holy Family Residence. The Social Worker works collaboratively with the Administrator, Mother Superior, Little Sisters, Management Staff, Admissions Committee, and all other staff to serve as an advocate for the neediest elderly to ensure each resident is valued and treated with dignity and respect. The Director of Social Services serves as an advocate for residents and educator regarding residents’ rights, supporting resident’s choices and promoting the Home’s philosophy of person-directed care. These services are consistent with the Litte Sisters of the Poor’s standards and philosophy and are in compliance with all regulations, codes, policies and procedures that govern the Home.
