Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our healthcare team in the 7A-7P and 7P-7A shifts. This vital role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients across various departments, including medical-surgical units, intensive care, emergency, geriatrics, and specialized care settings. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing patient comfort and safety. You will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient service while maintaining compliance with all safety and confidentiality standards. This is a male client, and needs help with ADL'S AND IALDS.
Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, meal prep.
- Support patient transfer methods utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety for both patients and staff.
- Medication reminders.
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs including Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, memory care, behavioral health conditions, or those requiring hospice or infectious disease care.
- Support patients’ emotional well-being through compassionate communication and attentive caregiving tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transfers, accurate medical documentation, and comprehensive care delivery.
Experience
Must have PCA OR CNA certificate, this is a IMMEDIATE start and is 12 hours shifts.
Must have dementia experience
CNA OR PCA certificate

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
