Summary
Safely transport vehicles to and from the dealerships from around the Tri-State area including Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Responsibilities
Transport vehicles to and from the dealerships.
- Drives vehicles and delivers or picks them up from around the area, including Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
- Operates both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Keeps a timely dealer trade route.
- Uses cell phone and/or operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
- Keeps a record of trips and destination or pick-up point.
- Notifies sales manager of any damage the vehicles may have when transporting.
- Ensure all items (keys, manuals, etc.) are accounted for on pickup and delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
Requirements
- HS Graduation or equivalent
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Extensive experience safely operating a vehicle.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
In accordance with RCW 49.44.240 this position is identified as Safety Sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening including cannabis.
