As Controller, you will have significant visibility across the organization and a direct line of sight to executive owners. You will lead finance integration efforts, strengthen accounting processes, and help drive operational excellence during a pivotal period of growth and transformation following a recent merger.

Lead all accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close

Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Drive integration efforts following merger activity, including process alignment and systems improvements

Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting structures

Lead cash management, banking relationships, and financial planning initiatives

Manage and develop accounting team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture

Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams to support business growth

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement scalable solutions

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership experience preferred

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting operations

Experience with process improvement, ERP systems, and financial analysis

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
-
Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or a related industry is a plus
