Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote dignity and comfort
- REMIND PATIENT of medications schedules accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Support clients with mobility using proper patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feedingwhen necessary, ensuring proper nutrition
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks, laundry, and organization of living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities to enhance mental well-being
- Document care activities meticulously, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Assist with transportation needs for appointments or errands, ensuring client safety during travel
