Math Tutor
Our Math Learning Center located is seeking qualified math tutors for tutoring students in grades 1-12. All tutoring is conducted within our learning center Monday through Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings, leveraging our customize curriculum and teaching methods. Online and on-the-job training will be provided to all candidates.
The key areas of responsibilities include:
- Tutor students in small group settings on math topics
- Work closely with students to help them with math worksheets, homework, and test preparations
- Learn and utilize our teaching methods to work with students to strengthen math skills
- Support the center with admin and office tasks
These individuals will possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Individuals excelling in math courses
- Passion for math, and strong advanced math skills
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Passion for working with kids ages 6 - 17
- Excellent communication skills and tons of patience
- Superb organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Possess exemplary character and have a strong leadership presence
