Southwark Metal Manufacturing is hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for our Caldwell, ID facility. Join a stable, growing manufacturer with 80 years of industry leadership producing high-quality sheet metal ducts and fittings. Our Idaho plant is one of seven nationwide facilities serving customers across all 50 states.
This role is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas to support efficient operations.
What You’ll Do
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Stage and organize products for storage or shipment
- Deliver raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect shipments and report damage or shortages
- Perform basic equipment checks and safety inspections
- Maintain inventory records and activity logs
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
What We’re Looking For
- Forklift operating experience required
- Valid forklift certification
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to perform physical work in a warehouse environment
Schedule
- 2nd Shift Preferred
- Full-Time | 40+ hours per week
