Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Pontiac/Lake Orion facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Pay Rate : $18.50/hr
1st shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm (Mon through Fri)
Responsibilities
- Utilize forklift to load and unload materials from trucks
- Operate sitdown and standup forklifts
- Perform order picking and ensure accuracy in product selection
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
- Safely handle materials and perform materials handling tasks
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of sitdown & standup
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with distribution center operations
- Ability to perform equipment repairs is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
