Position Summary
The Office Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to managers and supervisors while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule and coordinate appointments
- Develop, organize, and maintain filing systems
- Order and track office supplies
- Maintain and update contact lists and records
- Welcome and assist tenants
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
- Support managers and staff with daily office operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as an Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of office management systems and administrative procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Administrative Assistant or Secretary certification is a plus
