Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Medical Graduate (IMG) to join our team, through the newly approved International Medical Graduate Limited License program from IDFPR. This role offers an excellent opportunity for physicians who have completed medical training outside of the United States and are seeking to advance their clinical skills within a supportive primary care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient-centered care across diverse medical conditions, utilizing their extensive medical knowledge and clinical experience.
Exams: Pass USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3, verified through the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB). [1, 2]
Foreign License: Hold an active, unencumbered license in good standing in your country of training/licensure with no pending discipline
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation.
- Manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions with an emphasis on internal medicine, geriatrics, dermatology, and urgent care scenarios.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate medical documentation, order entry, and patient communication.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling, intake procedures, and maintaining medical records.
- Perform basic procedures including phlebotomy, medication administration, and wound care as required.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacology, ICD coding, and anatomy.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and trauma center protocols.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution outside of the United States with appropriate certification for practice in the U.S. (e.g., ECFMG certification).
- Prior clinical experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics; inpatient experience preferred- 3 yrs of post graduate training or active work for 2 years in the past 5 years.
- Knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and pharmacology principles.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or Level III trauma hospitals is desirable.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
