Automotive Diagnostic Technician – Wasatch Tire & Service Point S – West Jordan, Utah
Wasatch Tire & Service Point S is hiring an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician for our West Jordan location. We are looking for a highly skilled technician who can accurately diagnose and repair today’s complex vehicle systems while delivering high-quality work and helping lead shop productivity.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and performance concerns
- Perform advanced testing and repair procedures
- Use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and service information systems effectively
- Complete digital vehicle inspections and document findings clearly
- Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Work closely with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Help mentor and support less experienced technicians
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience required
- ASE certifications preferred
- Ability to diagnose electrical and drivability concerns efficiently
- Experience with scan tools and modern vehicle systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Own professional automotive tools
- Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and team mentality
