Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care for dogs of various breeds and sizes. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the dogs in your care while providing them with regular exercise and socialization. We service Ridgewood and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs on scheduled routes, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and stimulation.
- Monitor the behavior and health of each dog during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner.
- Maintain control of dogs at all times, using appropriate handling technique.
- Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
- Assist with additional pet care tasks as needed, such as feeding or administering medication.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred.
- Experience in dog training or working as a veterinary assistant/technician is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards both pets and their owners.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.

Pay: $21.66 - $23.10 per hour
