Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Development Coordinator to support our land development and project management activities.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of direct experience supporting land development, real estate development, construction projects, permitting, zoning, entitlements, or development project management.
The successful candidate will work closely with company management, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other external partners to support mixed-use land development projects from initial planning through construction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and management of land development projects.
- Support daily operations of the department including contract/document preparation and management.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and development milestone tracking.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants.
- Track permits, zoning matters, entitlements, inspections, invoices, contracts, approvals, and project deadlines.
- Assist with reviewing purchase agreements, consultant agreements, construction contracts, proposals, and other development-related documents.
- Conduct land research, market research, due diligence, and site analysis as needed.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, schedules, and internal updates for management.
- Maintain organized records of project documents, approvals, contracts and communications.
- Assist with vendor coordination and follow-up to help ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities related to land development projects.
- Internal/external meetings and events arrangements
- Participate in meetings and record meeting minutes
- Format information for internal and external communications/distributions (Memos, Emails, Presentations, Reports - electronic or otherwise)
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline demands
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of direct experience in land development, construction coordination, development project management, permitting, zoning, or entitlement processes.
- Experience supporting residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, or master-planned community development projects.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and project tracking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with consultants, contractors, utility providers, and government agencies.
- Experience reviewing contracts, proposals, invoices, permits, plats, and development-related documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, Finance, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience with permitting, zoning, subdivision platting, land-use approvals, or entitlement processes.
- Familiarity with land development, infrastructure improvements and project scheduling.
- Bilingual Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.

Applicants whose experience is primarily in residential or commercial real estate sales may not meet the qualifications unless they also have direct experience supporting land development, construction, permitting, zoning, entitlement, or development projects.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
