Project Coordinator

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate with a high degree of skill, desire to teach, and driven to continuously learn. We are looking to bring on an individual with experience in Division 10 or construction estimating, specification, sales, and/or project management. We are willing to train the right person who may not necessarily have specific experience.
Project Coordinator responsibilities and duties include the following:
- Establish and maintain great working relationships with clients
- Oversee jobs from quote approval through delivery to customer and provide excellent customer service before, during and after installation
- Work with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope of Ironwood quote, floorplans, elevations, and customer specifications
- Ensure proper implementation of customer revisions and change-orders
- Resolve design issues with architects, designers, distributors, and contractors
- Communicate with customers throughout the life cycle of a job to help projects move towards approvals for fabrication, release for production, and to stay on schedule
- Coordinate Ironwood production calendar
- Coordinate with Ironwood estimating, engineering, and manufacturing teams to create solutions for customers
- Handle incoming calls/emails requesting information, installation help, and problem resolution
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, exceptional organization skills
- Aptitude for product design and modification
- Experience reading plans, specs, and elevations
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
- Mindset towards positive teamwork
- Curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement and learning
The following skills will be helpful:
- Relevant experience (3+ years) in project management, manufacturing partitions, furniture, cabinets, or similar products
- Experience in the toilet partition industry (including installation, manufacturing, specifying, etc.)
- Experience working with laminates, solid surface, stone, acrylic
