Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision and integrity
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest services to maximize customer satisfaction
- Prior experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or cashiering is advantageous
- Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
