Title: Shipping / Receiving Clerk
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Openings: 1 – Day Shift
Essential responsibilities and duties
The Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Essential job duties include organizing inventory, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations, and entering material flows into the Company’s material management system.
· Coordinate shipping and receiving windows and times, based off customer schedule and demand.
· Prepare / process pull sheets and pick lists for scanning of customer orders.
· Prepare supplemental orders received via EDI.
· Prepare and print bill of ladings for shipments and close-out orders in material management system.
· Receive incoming components in the Company’s material management systems (SAP and MII).
· Create bill of ladings to ship empty returnable to suppliers.
· Keep track of finished good inventory and raise alerts as needed.
· Tasked with overseeing and maintaining accurate shipping records of all shipping and receiving logs.
· Manage and or problem solve for available parts for current and future shipments.
· Communicate with quality management support team to verify or certify shipments.
· Monitor for shipping errors and escalate if there is an issue.
· Maintain clean (5S) and safe working environment in line with Company standards.
· Other duties assigned as required.
Job knowledge / skills / qualifications:
▪ Shipping and/or receiving experience (2+ years) in a warehouse and/or just-in-time production environment.
▪ Minimum education level: High school diploma or GED.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Company material management system (MII & SAP).
▪ Forklift driving experience (2+ years) in a warehouse and/or just-in-time production environment preferred.
▪ Successful completion of Faurecia’s in-house forklift training program, which requires a valid driver’s license issued by the State.
▪ Ability to follow instruction verbal and written instructions. High school math, language and reading skills required.
▪ Self-motivated, task-oriented, and strong attention to detail.
▪ Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels.
▪ Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner.
Physical requirements:
▪ Job involves exerting 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
▪ Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping, and bending.
▪ High mental and visual effort required.
▪ Work may involve bending and twisting.
▪ Able and willing to work overtime when required – up to 12 hours a day / 7 days a week
Safety / hazards:
▪ Steel toed shoes always required in production area due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts and product.
▪ ANSI Z87.1 standard safety glasses required in production area due to dust, oils and debris.
▪ Ear protection required in production area due to high noise levels from machines.
▪ Exposed to significant temperature changes in the facility – (heat in the summer / cold in the winter).

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
