Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled commercial driver with a passenger endorsement and SPAB license to join our transportation team in Burlingame. The candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently across various routes and areas, including school operations. Key duties include operating commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate records, reports and providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Be always early prior the scheduled pickup time - between 15 to 30 minutes earlier.
- Operate and maintain commercial charter vans, minibuses and motor coaches.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness before and after finishing the job.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure passenger comfort and safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid California CDL class A or B with passenger endorsement - required.
- SPAB license - preferable.
- School bus license - preferable.
- Clean driving record.
- years of commercial driving experience, preferably in passenger transport.
- Strong knowledge of California roads and traffic regulations.
- A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a Class A or B endorsement.
- Proven experience in truck driving, paratransit driving, or bus driving.
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Multilingualism, particularly in Spanish, to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience working with children, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport.
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
- A clean driving record and a commitment to maintaining a safe driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with child management and behavior control.
- Familiarity with driving in various weather conditions.

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
