Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service at the front counter
- Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Assist in food preparation by following safety standards and recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare menu items quickly
- Manage food handling responsibilities, including sanitation, cleanliness, and proper storage of ingredients
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing friendly service
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and manage retail sales transactions
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols and food handling regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with food preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and restaurant safety protocols
- Prior retail or grocery store experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
