Pay: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 based on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am to 5pm, with days and time as project requires. Anticipated year-round work.
Summary
Centerline Energy Construction is seeking a Compliance and Training Manager responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, technology onboarding, and operational compliance programs. This position will ensure the company maintains full compliance with federal, state, customer, and company requirements while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Compliance and Safety Manager serve as the primary administrator for DOT compliance, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) initiatives, Operator Qualification (OQ) compliance, employee technology onboarding, and regulatory reporting. This individual partners closely with Operations, Human Resources, Fleet, Project Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure employees, equipment, and systems meet all compliance requirements before and throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
- Lead the company’s safety culture through proactive engagement and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and administer the company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) program.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in coordination of company-wide safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
- Assist in incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking as required.
- Maintain safety records and documentation of customer and regulatory audits
DOT Compliance
- Administer the company’s DOT compliance Program.
- Maintain driver qualification files.
- Coordinate CDL compliance requirements.
- Monitor Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs).
- Administer FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
- Coordinate drug and alcohol testing programs.
- Track CDL medical certificates and expiration dates.
- Monitor Hours of Service compliance when applicable.
- Manage new hire safety performance history (SPH).
- Ensure fleet documentation remains current and audit ready.
Operator Qualification (OQ) Compliance
- Administer the company’s Operator Qualification Program.
- Coordinate employee OQ training and evaluations.
- Maintain qualification records.
- Monitor expiration dates and required re-requalification’s.
- Coordinate and manage customer OQ platforms and third-party providers.
- Ensure qualified personnel are assigned to covered tasks.
- Support customer compliance audits and documentation requests.
Technology and IT Coordination
- Coordinate employee technology onboarding.
- Configure and issue company laptops, tablets, phones and other equipment.
- Coordinate user account creation and system access.
- Maintain employee technology inventory.
- Serve as liaison with third-party IT providers.
Training Administration
- Coordinate company orientation for new employees.
- Schedule required safety training.
- Track requires certifications and expiration dates.
- Maintain training records.
- Coordinate customer-required training programs.
- Support leadership in developing ongoing employee training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years or more of experience in safety, compliance, operations, or utility construction.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Experience administering Operator Qualification (OQ) programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- DOT compliance experience.
- Experience supporting natural gas utility construction.
- Knowledge of ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, or similar contractor compliance systems.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and electronic compliance databases.
