American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of experience and an active Iowa or compact RN license.

General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients requiring overnight stays
-
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week

Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses

Uses Epic EMR
-
Active RN license (Iowa or Compact)
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required

At least 1 completed travel contract required

Epic EMR experience preferred
-
One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
-
Not eligible if employed by the facility's health system within the last 12 months

Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Provide care to post-operative patients on a general medical/surgical unit

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate

Holiday coverage required, with travelers expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)

Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
