Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Verify delivery orders, accurately process pricing details, and handle cash or electronic payments when necessary
- Engage with customers professionally, providing exceptional service, answering questions, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate
- Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery speed and reduce fuel consumption while maintaining punctuality
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform heavy lifting of packages or merchandise, and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Organize deliveries in a logical sequence to ensure timely completion of all scheduled stops
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and customer interactions for accountability and reporting purposes
Requirements
- Valid chauffeur license or equivalent with a clean driving record
- Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Proven experience in driving routes efficiently within a busy delivery environment
- Ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform physical tasks safely
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries and prioritize tasks effectively
- Prior military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and teamwork orientation
- Must pass a background and drug screening.
