POSITION SUMMARY
Instructors will provide professional military education instruction supporting the Airman Leadership School’s distance learning program. Upon hiring, instructors will be required to complete initial faculty development instruction and other requirements to be identified by the Air Force Global College (AFGC). The AFGC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and provides competent contractor and government faculty qualified to accomplish the organization’s goals and mission.
PROFESSIONAL (OPERATIONAL) QUALIFICATIONS

Former or retired US Air Force non-commissioned officer in the rank of E-5 or higher.
- Graduate of the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy or sister-service PME equivalent.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree or higher (Bachelor's preferred) in Leadership, Management, Political Science, or a closely related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Air Force experience as a first-line supervisor and positions requiring application of leadership principles.
- Prior online teaching experience (military or civilian) is a strong plus.
- HIGHLY PREFERRED- Military background, specifically with the Air Force.
Other considerations:
Prior Enlisted Officers may be permitted to instruct upon retirement or separation from service. Active-duty Officers are not permitted to teach within the program, regardless of prior Enlisted experience.
