Quality Control Lead – BT Trailers (Kennedale, TX)

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all trailers produced meet our stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies to ensure product excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality concerns and drive improvements.
- Train and mentor quality control inspectors, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Manage documentation related to quality control activities, including inspection reports and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in trailer or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Proficient in using quality control software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position based in Kennedale, TX.
- Occasional travel may be required for supplier audits or training.
