Trailhead Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Recovery Support Staff (RSS)/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. This role is essential in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey and helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
The Behavioral Health Technician will work closely with the clinical team to support daily programming, encourage client engagement, and provide recovery-focused support throughout the day.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating psychoeducational and therapeutic groups
- Supporting clients throughout the day with schedules, needs, and program expectations
- Monitoring client engagement, participation, and overall well-being
- Providing encouragement, accountability, and support aligned with individualized treatment goals
- Maintaining accurate attendance and documentation related to groups and daily programming
- Assisting in maintaining a positive, professional, and therapeutic environment
- Collaborating with the clinical and medical team to support client care
- Supporting day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth and consistent client experience
Qualifications:
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, mental health, human services, or a related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work effectively within a team environment
- Compassionate, organized, dependable, and adaptable
- Experience facilitating groups preferred
Schedule Requirements:
This position requires flexibility, including the ability to work two-three evening shifts per week. This position can be full time or part time.
