Vehicle Porter – Afternoon/Closing Shift
Porcaro Ford is looking for a dependable and hardworking Vehicle Porter to help keep our dealership lot organized and our vehicles ready for customers. This is a 30–40-hour-per-week position with most hours scheduled during the afternoon and evening. Saturday availability from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is required.
Pay
$14–$18 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
- 30–40 hours per week
- Primarily afternoon-to-close shifts
- Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Dependable closing and Saturday availability is required
Responsibilities
- Move and organize new and used vehicles throughout the dealership lot
- Keep vehicle displays and parking areas neat and properly arranged
- Prepare vehicles for customer appointments and deliveries
- Wash vehicles and perform light cleaning when needed
- Check in arriving vehicles and help manage vehicle keys
- Retrieve vehicles for customers and dealership employees
- Assist with dealer trades, fuel runs, parts pickups, and other dealership errands
- Help remove snow and maintain safe, clean vehicle areas during winter
- Support the sales and service departments as needed
- Safely operate customer-owned and dealership vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Able to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Professional attitude and respect for customer and dealership vehicles
- Previous dealership or porter experience is helpful but not required
