Duties
- Conduct pawn transactions by appraising items, offering loans, and managing collateral in accordance with company policies
- Assist customers with retail sales, including product demos, upselling, and providing detailed product information
- Operate POS systems and cash registers accurately during retail transactions and cash handling procedures
- Stock merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing through effective merchandising
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and transaction totals with accuracy
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and maintaining proper cash drawer handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising or leading sales teams is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures
- Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies to enhance sales performance
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail store product details and customer service best practices is highly desirable
