PUMPERS, a Stefan Bowers restaurant, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic cashiers/counter servers join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and provide exceptional guest services while ensuring a memorable dining experience. Experience in upscale dining or nightclub settings is preferred, along with proficiency in using restaurant management systems such as Toast.
Pay
$8/hr + tips
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Ensure tables are properly set and sanitized before and after each service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sanitizing surfaces and managing waste disposal.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and operational procedures.
- Ensure that no minors are served alcohol.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Toast POS is highly desirable.
- A passion for culinary arts, with an eagerness to learn about menu items and pairings to enhance guest experiences.
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively while upselling when appropriate.
