Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pool Remodel Construction Manager to lead and oversee residential and commercial pool renovation projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of pool remodel projects, coordinating all phases from design review through construction completion
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and procurement processes using construction estimating tools and project management software
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met
- Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress reports
- Coordinate construction schedule updates regularly to maintain momentum and address potential delays proactively
- Lead teams of construction professionals on-site, providing clear direction and ensuring efficient workflow management
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control, safety adherence, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite, and project scheduling tools like Primavera P6
- Strong background in civil 3D modeling and schematic reading for infrastructure projects involving pools or related structures
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on pool remodels or similar outdoor renovations
- Deep understanding of construction estimating, cost management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance specific to the pool industry
- Excellent project coordination skills with a track record of managing teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Skilled in blueprint reading, construction plans review, contract administration, and managing construction schedules effectively
- Knowledge of construction regulations governing residential and commercial outdoor renovations including permits and environmental considerations
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously
