Job Description
We are seeking Assembly Technicians to join our dynamic team in Alexandria, AL. This role requires a general understanding of the use of common shop tools such as wrenches, sockets, grinders, drills, tape measures, test lights, etc. As well as a desire to learn new skills and have a good work ethic. This is not an assembly-line or repetitive production position. We are seeking mechanically inclined technicians who can independently assemble, install, and fit hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on customer-specific bulk feed trailers. Duties
- Assembly of the trailers and bodies that we manufacture.
- Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure precision in all tasks.
- Utilize basic shop tools, powered and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Other responsibilities as required for production.
Requirements
- Consistently work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.
- Must work well with others.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy material and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Be mechanically minded.
- Basic math and excellent problem-solving skills.
- A good work ethic and time management skills is a must.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of 12V wiring systems, pneumatics or hydraulics is preferred.
Job Type, Location & Schedule
- This is a full-time direct hire position located onsite in Alexandria, AL
- First shift is currently 5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. M-TH with overtime possible on Fridays. Second shift is 3:30pm-2:00a.m. M-Th with overtime possible on Fridays.
