A law firm in Winston-Salem is looking for a full-time estate planning attorney who possesses strong negotiation and organizational abilities. In this role, you'll create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families, guide them through complex legal processes, and help ensure every estate is managed in accordance with the owner's intentions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Consult with prospective clients and lead them through a comprehensive estate planning process.
- Provide expert legal advice and deliver superior estate planning and asset protection work products.
- Research, design, and create complex, customized estate plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Guide clients through the probate process with clear, actionable advice.
- Represent clients in uncontested guardianship and probate hearings.
- Create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney; educate clients on retirement, charitable giving, and insurance options.
- Maintain detailed, organized records of client interactions and case progress.
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Bar license
- 5+ years in estate planning, probate & trust administration
- J.D. with undergraduate legal background
- ABA membership in good standing
- Strong communication skills in high-stress situations
- Knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts & litigation
Preferred Qualifications
- WealthDocx or ElderDocx software experience
- LL.M. in Tax or Estate Planning Board Certified Specialist

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
