Are you a skilled mechanical maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment? We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic to support the reliable operation of mechanical systems in an industrial plant environment.
This hands-on position is ideal for someone with experience in mechanical maintenance who is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and related systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace or repair defective components.
- Lubricate machinery, change oils, replace bearings and seals, and perform routine maintenance.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of larger mechanical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance personnel to complete repairs and improve equipment reliability.
- Respond to equipment failures and perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and maintenance standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, utility, or similar environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical training in industrial maintenance or mechanical trades.
- Experience working with pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, boilers, or rotating equipment.
This position is performed in an industrial setting and may require:
- Working around machinery, moving equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, chemicals, and confined spaces.
- Climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Availability for occasional overtime, emergency repairs, or on-call assignments.
