Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and creativity
- Support the team in food handling, packaging, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Learn and apply proper food safety and sanitation procedures throughout all stages of food production
- Help with ingredient measurement, and food preparation tasks to streamline kitchen operations
- Contribute to maintaining an organized workspace, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations
- Support the pastry team in executing daily kitchen operations efficiently and safely
- Must be available Tuesday-Saturday minimum 3 hrs a day.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic about baking, pastry arts, and culinary experiences with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Basic knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food handling practices
- Prior experience or coursework related to baking, cooking, or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong baking skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Must be legally eligible for paid internship opportunities in the culinary or hospitality field
