Job Summary
We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Inside Sales Account Manager to grow the U.S. Products brand across our distributor network and direct house accounts. You'll be the primary point of contact for dealers and distributors, while also identifying and developing new business with commercial cleaning contractors, facility managers, and institutional buyers. The successful candidate will bring a self-starting approach to selling within the industrial and commercial cleaning equipment market, with particular focus on floor extraction systems. This role requires the ability to work autonomously, build long-term client relationships, and drive consistent revenue growth without close supervision. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of setting realistic sales goals, tracking progress against relevant KPIs, and consistently meeting or exceeding those goals.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Vancouver, WA office — with occasional travel for trade shows, customer visits, and product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Support:
- Serve as the main contact for assigned distributors and dealers
- Respond to pricing, product availability, and quote requests
- Onboard and train new distributor partners on the U.S. Products line
- Support trade shows, demos, and co-marketing efforts
- Track distributor performance and report to leadership
House Account Management & Development:
- Make consistent outbound calls to prospective direct customers daily
- Manage inbound leads from contractors, facilities, and institutions
- Identify and convert new house accounts through consultative selling
- Match customers to the right extractor solution (Pegasus, Neptune, Cobra, Kraken) based on their needs
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular check-ins and upselling
- Handle quotes, order entry, and post-sale follow-up
- Keep CRM up to date with activities, contacts, and pipeline
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of inside sales or account management experience in B2B or industrial sales
- Familiarity with commercial floor cleaning equipment or janitorial supply industry is a strong plus
- Strong outbound phone skills and comfort with high call volume
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to commute to and work from our Vancouver, WA office daily
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment (extractors, scrubbers, vacuums) or janitorial supply
- Experience with brands like Prospector, Mytee, Clarke, Windsor, or Tennant
- Knowledge of building service contractors (BSCs) and facility maintenance buyers
- Experience supporting distributor or dealer networks in a technical sales role
