· Perform preventive maintenance on mill, slitter, and auxiliary equipment according to maintenance schedules.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures in production equipment.
· Diagnose and repair basic electrical issues in motors, sensors, and control systems.
· Perform equipment adjustments, alignments, and component replacements.
· Inspect and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, hoses, and cylinders.
· Diagnose hydraulic leaks and pressure issues.
· Maintain pneumatic systems including air cylinders, regulators, and control valves.
· Assist in troubleshooting electrical components including motors, limit switches, sensors, and control panels.
· Replace electrical components when required.
· Work with electrical personnel when performing major electrical repairs.
· Perform welding repairs on equipment structures and components.
· Fabricate brackets, guards, supports, and minor equipment modifications.
· Repair worn or damaged components using welding or machining when required.
· Respond to equipment breakdowns and support quick restoration of production.
· Work with operators and supervisors to troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
· Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments when required.
· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
· Identify potential equipment issues before failures occur.
· Record maintenance activities and report abnormal equipment conditions.
· Support improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
· Recommend improvements to equipment design or maintenance procedures.
· Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and workspaces (5S).
· Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are properly stored and maintained.
· Maintain safe work areas around production equipment.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
