PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To maintain a high standard of personal and interpersonal functioning in job performance.
Assist staff in record retrieval.
Assist Health Information Manager with copying, filing, and other clerical duties, as needed, due to the increased volume of work generated from the increase in clients.
Help perform qualitative analysis of client records in the main office and Reception Center and refer them to the responsible staff member for completion.
Assemble discharged charts in the discharged chart order for permanent filing.
Make copies as needed for Release of Information.
To perform other duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a graduate of or attending an accredited business school, college or university or a high school graduate with two years responsible experience in a related area.
Must be responsible for performing work requiring independent judgment with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
Must have knowledge and ability to communicate freely and positively either through letters, telephone or in person.
Must possess a strong sense of maturity and integrity in working with staff and other officials.
Must be able to maintain a degree of confidentiality in regards to the client records.
