HVAC Technician
Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in Marlborough, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems and associated mechanical equipment. This position requires a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities and experience working in commercial or industrial environments.
Location: Marlborough, MA
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 hr. (based on experience)
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems – Required
- EPA Universal Certification – Required
- Massachusetts HVAC Refrigeration Technician License – Required
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and associated process systems.
- Maintain and service:
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Supply and Exhaust Air Systems
- Heating and Cooling Coils
- Facility Refrigeration Systems
- Plant Utility Systems
- Analyze equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Review equipment specifications and system designs.
- Obtain replacement parts, utilize repair manuals, and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable codes.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions.
