Certified Medication aide (CMA) Requirements:
Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, and pulse.
Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and assisting with positioning.
Assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Collect laboratory specimens (e.g., urine, blood) and perform basic lab tests.
Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Experience: Previous experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting preferred.
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Skills:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care practices.
Ability to perform clinical tasks and administer medications.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
