Duties
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients in an outpatient private practice setting.
- Perform therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy techniques to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance functional outcomes.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with medical documentation and clinical assessment standards.
- Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers about treatment procedures, progress, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Experience
- New grads welcome for orthopedic outpatient private practice setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
- Skilled in applying manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedic mobilizations.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices is essential.
- Experience operating medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments while maintaining safety protocols.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages—including pediatric and geriatric populations—and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) management systems for accurate documentation of client care plans and progress notes.
