TRANSFER PUMP OPERATOR
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operating transfer pump unit or support equipment in efforts to assist in setting surface on oil and gas wells
Reviews and completes pump logs and maintenance checklists
Transport equipment to/from location and rigging in and out at job sites
Communicating and working with the Supervisor and fellow crew members to complete jobs with focus on safety, environment, and community
Maintains equipment to company standards, and ensures all equipment, including PPE, is in proper working order.
Monitors control panels to gauge pressure, flow, revolutions per minute (RPMs), and other diagnostic information of equipment.
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES
- Previous rig/oilfield/Roustabout experience a PLUS but not necessary
- Flexibility to work on-call, rotational schedule
- Ability to follow, and enforce safe work procedures, codes, and regulations.
- A highly energetic, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with a high attention to detail
- Proven ability to adapt to a variety of environmental factors and extreme weather conditions while performing operational requirements
- Works and inspires others to work at high performance levels
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
- Physically able to lift and carry 50-100lbs
- Experience making immediate decisions, while maintaining composure, in high pressure situations with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Pay: $15.00 - $31.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call

- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
