Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machining tools to produce complex components according to detailed blueprints and specifications.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections utilizing measurement tools for precision measurement in machining
- Perform machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments during production runs to optimize performance.
- Assist with manual machining tasks such as lathe work or grinding when necessary to supplement CNC operations.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes involving plastics injection molding or welding when required for component integration.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting technical drawings accurately for precise manufacturing.
- Familiarity with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control purposes.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machining tools, tooling setup, machine calibration, and basic math skills essential for precision work.
- Experience working with various materials such as metals and plastics within a manufacturing environment; knowledge of metal machining processes is a plus.
- Ability to perform machine setup independently while adhering to safety standards; welding or power tool experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
