We are seeking an energetic and motivated Retail Shift Supervisor to lead our Bowling center operations during key shifts. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage team members, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain operational standards. Your leadership will drive sales, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive shopping environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth shift execution and adherence to company policies.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance and customer service.
- Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and accurate record-keeping using POS systems.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and store visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy shifts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on employee orientation, training & development, and team management.
- Knowledge of retail sales, pricing, and store management best practices.
