Role Overview
As Practice Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our clinic’s day-to-day operations, championing a culture of professionalism, empathy, and excellence. Reporting directly to Dr. Hoeft, you’ll oversee all non-medical facets of our hospital to ensure a seamless, high-level experience for both clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a growing team of veterinary professionals — including receptionists, vet techs, and assistants.
- Oversee HR tasks: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Manage finances and budgeting: billing, payroll, inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Maintain regulatory compliance: medical records, OSHA, and cleaning/sterilization procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize clinic workflows, policies, and internal communication.
- Enhance the client experience through service standards, policies, and follow-up procedures.
- Review and refine KPIs: financial metrics, appointment flow, inventory turnover, and client satisfaction.
- Lead marketing initiatives and community outreach — including digital and social media presence, referral promotions, local event participation, and branding strategies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in veterinary practice or healthcare management; veterinary hospital background strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on budgeting, payroll, billing, and inventory experience.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering excellent client service and patient care.
- Proficient with practice management software and familiar with medical compliance protocols.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
