Schedule: Early Afternoon-Early Evening
What you’ll do
- Assist physical therapists with patient intake and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the guidance of licensed professionals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and proper techniques to enhance their recovery process.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records.
- Engage with patients to provide encouragement and emotional support throughout their therapy journey.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Basic qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience in acute care settings or familiarity with hospital medicine practices.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient service and care in a clinical environment.
