Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination.
- Load and unload merchandise, practicing safe lifting techniques and heavy lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Engage with customers professionally, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, invoices, and route logs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure automobiles are transportation-ready at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving, with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and merchandising techniques to support sales efforts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during loading/unloading processes.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers.
- Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
