About the Role
At Al Manakeesh, our baristas are the heart of the counter — the first smile our guests see and the hands behind every drink that makes their visit better. A Day in the Life
- Craft and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to recipe and to standard — every cup, every time
- Run the POS with confidence, taking orders and handling payments quickly and accurately
- Make every guest feel welcome — greet warmly, take orders correctly, and handle questions or concerns with care
- Keep the counter spotless — tables, counters, and equipment — so we're always meeting food safety standards
- Jump in on food prep and service when needed, keeping everything up to our quality bar
- Handle cash and the register responsibly and accurately
- Stay sharp during the rush — managing your time and priorities without sacrificing quality
- Work as part of a team that builds each other up and keeps the vibe positive
What We're Looking For
- Previous barista experience required
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine, friendly approach with guests
- Understanding of food safety and proper food handling
- Comfortable working fast-paced without losing quality
- Experience with POS systems
- Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items of varying weights
- Able to stand for extended periods and stay active throughout the shift
