Tractor Central, Western Wisconsin's premier John Deere dealer, is seeking an Turf and Utility Service Technician to join our team.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience repairing agricultural, lawn and garden, turf, or compact construction equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrain components.
- Familiarity with John Deere equipment and service procedures is a plus.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and computer-based diagnostic software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on compact tractors, utility tractors, riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, Gator™ utility vehicles, and other turf and small agricultural equipment.
- Perform inspections and identify needed repairs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete work orders and maintain detailed service records.
- Use John Deere diagnostic equipment and service information to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status with service advisors and customers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
