Description:
Provides leadership in clinical problem solving, high risk patient process, internal and external incidents and codes, compliance standards and identifies staff development and remediation needs. Represents entity and BHSF in the absence of senior leadership or as delegated. Provides support and direction to all hospital departments, collaborates closely with hospital leadership. Works closely with the staffing office to ensure that the 24 hour/7 day nursing staff needs meet budgeted standards of excellence. Oversees Flexible Staff from the Central Staffing Center during the assigned tour of duty. Collaborates with nursing leadership participating in performance improvement of the hospital wide continuum of care of patients to ensure quality, safety and patient and family centered care standards are met. Responsible for patient flow through the centralized prioritization of patients and staff placement per entity standards. Participates in committees as needed.
Estimated pay range for this position is $43.44 - $57.78 / hour depending on experience.

- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- Basic Life Support.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Registered Nurse.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- RNs hired prior to 1/2023 with an Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) have 3 years to complete the BSN.
- Masters preferred.
- 5 years hospital or healthcare setting experience.
- Experience working with Staffing and Scheduling preferred.
- Supervisor/Management experience preferred.
- Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards.
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
- Able to prioritize and delegate.
- Certification in area of specialty preferred.
- Life Support Certificate (BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS) as per department standard.
