Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license from the state of Illinois
- Possess solid school-based OT experience (required)
- Demonstrate strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Committed to providing services exclusively onsite; remote work is not available
- This position is not open to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to high school students' unique needs
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support students’ learning, engagement, and functional independence within the school setting
- Collaborate closely with educators, related services staff, administrators, and families to cultivate an inclusive, accessible learning environment
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate actively in team meetings, IEP processes, and ongoing professional development
