Collection/Repossession Company is hiring a full-time Repossession Agent for the Harrisburg area. Position requires a self-starter that is organized, detail oriented and computer literate. Schedule can vary but must consist of an 8 hour shift. Must have the ability to work some night shifts. Previous experience in credit and collections is preferred, along with previous experience driving commercial vehicles such as a tow truck. Do not apply if you do not have a strong work history. Must have a clean driving history for previous three years so no speeding tickets and no DUIs.
Job Functions:
- Organize accounts and runs
- Secure collateral for financial Institutions using tow equipment, dollies and safety chains
- Complete repossession paperwork and upload pictures to the office by established deadlines
- Inventory personal property and upload information to office
- Provide office with account updates
- Transport vehicles to established storage lots after repossession
- Must obey all Federal and State Collection laws
Required:
- Strong communication skills and ability to speak with others.
- Must maintain a professional attitude when dealing with consumers and their past due accounts.
- Ability to complete all paperwork and upload (client required) photos within the established deadlines.
- Ability to navigate and manage the use of client portals.
- Comfortable with technology and computer applications
- Clean driving record and background check
Preferred
- Previous experience driving a tow truck/ commercial vehicles
- Previous repossession experience
