Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Handle food items in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Provide support to customers by answering questions and offering recommendations.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food handling practices within the food service or food industry is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in retail or sales is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
